

Triundi

The high-altitude wildlife sanctuary of Gamgul is located in the Bhandal valley in Salooni tehsil of Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh. The state of Jammu and Kashmir adjoins it at the northern end.

The Temple rests in a crater lake on the top of Anjani hill near Salooni. The pine trees encompass the lake from one side with lush pasture on the other. The temple greets the valley of Bhadela with aesthetic views and wide open picnic spot.
The enchanting Padri Pass or Padri Galli or Padri Top which connects Chamba in Himachal Pradesh with Bhaderwah in the Jammu and Kashmir UT at around 10,400 feet at mean sea level.



At a distance of 26 km from Dalhousie, the Chamera lake is formed by the Chamera Dam on the convergence point of Rivers Ravi and Baira Soul, which is positioned at an altitude of 1500 m.

The cave temple is situated in Diur, 15km from sub-division Salooni, is famous for its large sedimentary limestone formation cave system. The cave is believed to be hundreds of years old.
Around 5 km from Salooni town, you can find the lush pine meadows of Guthan. Lush green meadows, crystal clear lake and balmy climate in summer are some of the highlights of this place. The place is very clean and nicely maintained.

The Baasuki Nag Temple is the prime attraction in Sarar valley, which is visited by large number of people every year, especially between the months of August and September.



Garh Mata Temple is a temple of Devi Chamunda which was built by the Raja of Chamba named Prithi Singh at the border of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Set against the backdrop of dense pines, deodars and lush green meadow, Triundi is exquisitely nestled down in the foothills of the imposing Dhauladhar ranges of the Western Himalayas.

Nearby Siyarehi trek, you can find another similarly ecstatic Mandrala Guniyali trek through the same alpine and spruce trees. The alongside flowing streams give you an endless supply of fresh water.
